“Careers in STEM”

In celebration of Manufacturing Month, the Society of Women Engineers will host “Careers in STEM” from 8:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 4 in College Center. Students of all ages, teachers, counselors and parents are invited to attend the event.

Female engineering students and engineers from industry will share their experience. Representatives from the U.S. Army will be there to talk to the students and SWE will formally announce a collaboration with the U.S. Army. Attendees will have the opportunity to try the welding simulator and other hands-on activities. This is an interactive event to give an exposure to STEM career pathways.
