Lorain County Community College is one of just two community colleges in Ohio to be named to the M-List, which recognizes high schools, community colleges, technical schools, and universities that are teaching manufacturing students to industry standards.

{mosimage}The M-List was compiled by the Manufacturing Institute to recognize schools that offer students the opportunity to earn National Association of Manufacturing (NAM) Endorsed Manufacturing Skills Certifications as a standard part of their manufacturing education programs.

Kelly Zelesnik, LCCC’s Dean of Engineering Technologies, said she is honored – but not surprised – that LCCC made the list.

"We work closely with local manufacturers to ensure our curriculum matches employers’ needs," she said. "Students at LCCC get a hands-on education that prepares them for today’s manufacturing workforce."

LCCC offers a variety of degrees and certificates in Manufacturing and Engineering Technologies, including Computer Aided Machining, Mechanical Design, Quality Control and many more.
