Private Pilot Ground School Course Starts in Fall at LCCC

PRIVATE PILOT GROUND SCHOOL COURSE STARTS IN FALL AT LCCC

The Private Pilot Ground School (TECN 195) course will be offered for
the first time this fall at Lorain County Community College.

This course provides an introduction to the aviation field, and is
designed to prepare students for the FAA Private Pilot written
examination, which is required for a Private Pilot License.

Topics in this class include: airplane systems, aerodynamic
principles, flight safety, aeronautical charts, airspace, radio
procedures, aviation weather, airplane performance, navigation, aviation
physiology, and flight planning.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive
endorsements that will allow them to take the FAA exam. For more
