The college has nearly 11,000 students enrolled, which represents a 50 percent increase since 2000. LCCC is among the top 15 fastest growing community colleges in the nation with college’s over 10,000 students, according to Community College Week. Tuition at LCCC will remain at the current rate for this year and the next academic year. That is about one-quarter of tuition rates at public universities in Ohio. It remains the second lowest in the state.

The freeze holds the cost per credit hour to $92.30 (including fees) for Lorain County residents. This equates to $1,107.60 for tuition and fees per semester and $2,215.20 annually for Lorain County residents taking classes full-time. LCCC’s innovative blanket tuition program gives students the opportunity to take up to 18 credit hours and pay only for 13 credit hours, or $1,199.90 each semester.
