Lorain County Community College and The University of Akron have partnered to bring higher education to Northern Medina County with the new Midpoint Campus Center in Brunswick. This shared center helps to meet the goals of the new University System of Ohio by providing greater access and increasing participation in college by Ohioans.

Midpoint is in the middle of an educationally underserved geographical sector where eastern Lorain County and the cities of Brunswick and Strongsville intersect on Route 42 and Boston Road. It is located on the third floor of the Highland Square office building at 50 Pearl Road in Brunswick.

There will be live class instruction at Midpoint as well as online courses from both institutions, giving students greater flexibility in building their schedules. Midpoint also offers Post Secondary Enrollment Options courses for high school students, continuing education courses, employment and career services, business and support services and an open computer lab.
